A Silk Banner and Glad Tidings from SINOPEC

On Aug. 26, 2019, a delegation from SINOPEC Tianjin LNG Co., Ltd. made a special trip to ChenXiang Pump Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as ChenXiang). He Junchang, the deputy general manager, delivered a silk banner which featuring “Exquisite Technology, High Quality, Customer First, Professional Service” and “Tianjin LNG Project Glad Tidings" to ChenXiang's  chairman, Mr. Geng Jizhong. Mr. He said: The three large-scale LNG seawater pump units provided by ChenXiang has been operating normally and stable since 2016. The main performance indicators of those pump units are excellent and reached the international advanced level. These pumps have laid a solid foundation for the high-quality engineering and safe and smooth operation for the Tianjin LNG Receiving Station (Phase I) Project!

ChenXiang is the first company in China to realize the localization of LNG seawater pump. Those products have won the “National Key New Product Award”. At present, the new lot of vertical turbine seawater pump units required for SINOPEC Tianjin LNG (Phase II) Project is being produced on site at ChenXiang's Workshop. ChenXiang will continually adhere to the concept of “Quality First, Customer First”, carry forward the spirit of artisans and provide customers with more high-end products. .

 

Having conquered difficulties of oversea project, CHX won the praises of clients

On the first day of the 2019 lunar calendar, it coincided with the Spring Festival. The overseas project department of Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute , Mr Jiang Guolin who is the operation and maintenance manager of the circulating pump technical reform project of 330MW gas combined cycle power plant in Shaji Bazar, Bangladesh, made a congratulatory call to Mr Gen Jizhong, Chairman of ChenXiang Pump Co., Ltd., and excitedly informed that the operating efficiency, cavitation, vibration, noise and other indicators of the three large-scale split case circulating water pumps (diameter of 1600mm) modified by CHX for this project met and exceeded the user's requirements. The installation and trial operation were successful.  

On 13th March, CHX received a letter of acknowledgement from the China  Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., which was the general contractor of this project. The letter said, since the installation, commissioning and operation of the new pump in January 2019 , #1, #2, #3 circulating water pump operated separately or two worked simultaneously, all parameters are qualified, and most of them reached excellent standards. And the pump run without obvious cavitation noise, the flow and head met the requirements of the nameplate, the indicators met or exceeded the standard requirements, which solved the technical problems that have plagued the project owner for a year and a half, and successfully replaced the three original pumps which had some problem of operating efficiency, cavitation, vibration, noise, etc. CHX gain the approval of the local owners in Bangladesh.

Guangdong Electric Power Design and Institute spoke highly to the achievements of CHX in urgent customer needs, dare to meet the challenges, successfully conquered the difficulties of abnormal sound and noise exceeding the operation standard for large-scale water pump that were difficult for other manufacturers to solve, maintaining the reputation of the project department in the Bangladesh market.

On March 19th, specially invited by China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., Mr Gen Jizhong, Chairman of ChenXiang Pump Co., Ltd., participated in the successful experience sharing meeting of this project. Mr Qiao Xubin, the Dean of Guangdong Electric Power Deisgn  personally given the letter of acknowledgement to Mr Gen for the Reconstruction Project in Shaji Bazar, Bangladesh.

 

The Industry Product Standard “Vertical Turbine Pump” Drafted And Revised By CHX

Recently, the national industry standard CJ/T 235-2017 “Vertical Turbine Pump” drafted and revised by Hunan ChenXiang Pump Co., Ltd. was formally released by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Standards Quota Division and will be implemented from May 1st this year. The revision of the “Vertical Turbine Pump” standard has been fulfilled on the premises of ensuring the requirements of the important norms of the original standard was not reduced, summarizing the experience of product application under the original standard for ten years, learning from new technologies both domestic and abroad, actively absorbing opinions of experts in various fields and combining the current actual situation of the pump industry. The original standard "Vertical Turbine Pump" CJ/T 235-2006 drafted and prepared by CHX in 2006 was repealed at the same time.

Requirements of performance, material, testing, appearance, etc. for Vertical Turbine Fire Pump has been added to the new standard. It provides the standard specification for application of vertical turbine pumps in fire fighting fields.

CHX will firmly implement the standard and continue to be dedicated to the product optimization and upgrading research. The revision and release of this standard will effectively promote the application of vertical turbine pumps in pump industry.

 

Full Construction And Installation of Seawater Pump for ENN Zhejiang Zhoushan LN

Recently, a total of 18 sets equipment, including seawater circulating pump, fire pump and fire emergency pump units, which were manufactured by ChenXiang PUMP for ENN Zhejiang Zhoushan LNG Receiving and Bunkering Terminal Project , have been entered into the full construction and installation stage.

This project is scheduled to put into production in 2018, with a annual turnover capacity of 3 million tons of LNG for the first phase and 10 million tons for final design. It will be operational as LNG bunkering station of international shipping and vessels, and taken into the account both the demand for clean energy of future sustainable development in Zhoushan Islands and new district , also can be used as the emergency and peak shaving reserves in Zhejiang province. It is one of the largest and the most complete functional LNG terminal stations in China.

 

ChenXiang Pump’s Vertical Mixed Flow Seawater pump Gained One-off Commissioning Su

On Jan 24, 2018, the MbaDelta sea sand ore dressing ship project for Australian Amex in Fiji was successfully tested. This is the first large-scale offshore ore dressing ship project designed and manufactured by China and exported to developed country. Three vertical mixed flow seawater pumps for this project was supplied by CHX. The seawater pump for this project was adopted with the special optimization design, meet the service requirements of marine climate, ship operation, outdoor use etc., and one-off commissioning was done successfully , the operation parameters meet the design and relevant standards.

The vertical mixed flow sea water pump developed by CHX obtained the "National Key New Product", its performance has reached the international advanced level. It has been widely used in the ocean engineering and well received by the users.

 

Successfully Delivery of ChenXiang Pump’s Seawater Pumps for Hengyi Brunei Project

ChenXiang pump successfully won the seawater pump bidding of large-scale refining project in Brunei of Hengyi Industries SDN BHD in 2017. A special project management team was established immediately.
